The Element Wars
Prologue
Nestled in a large clearing in the Shinta forest is the town of Sparex, the once beautiful training grounds of the Elementals, a group of highly trained worriers that prided themselves on there ability to live in Sparex without disturbing the delicate ecosystem of the forest and had once ruled of the planet rotecting the forest for the many forces that aimed to destroy it.
No one really knows what happend to the elementals the once strong and promanent group seems to have just disapeared. The most popular theory is that one of the fire elementals got tierd of following orders and turned on the others, and the temple of the elements, the source of the elementals power, took back the gift it had given the elementals. All that is known for sure is that after the Elementals left, most of the residents of Sparex left, very few familys stayed. One of the few that did was Reko, Ruby, and Nova Star. Reko's family had always lived in Sparex, and they had no plans to leave, Ruby's family on the other hand had left shortly after the Elementals disapeared. Ruby didn't want to have to move her five year old son out of the town that he had always known as home and with twins on the way she didn't want to uproot her family. It seemed as though every day more and more familys packed up and left, untill Reko, Ruby, Nova, and the newly born twins Emerald and Jade were the only ones left. About three years after everyone left a very rich and very powerful company known as Elemex came in and started to rebuild Sparex, buying all the land that was left behind and useing it to try and turn Sparex into an industrialized city. As they built more and more houses and apartment buildings more and more people moved in, untill Sparex became exactly what the Elementals had worked so hard to prevent. Due to all the poulution caused by the construction Ruby became very sick, and three weeks after Emerald and Jade's sixth birthday Ruby died. Seven years later a rebel group apeared and began to wage war with Elemex, Reko was captured by Elemex and never seen again, leaving a seventeen year old Nova alone to take care of his little sisters.
